The ongoing destruction of Earth’s natural systems is the result of decisions, made daily, by billions of people. These decisions are voluntary and involuntary at once, collective and personal. The question must be asked: what is driving our actions? Two indigenous leaders, Nainoa Thompson and Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq (Uncle), will share their wisdom with us as we try to heal this broken world together, and guide us through this challenging question, and others, as they reflect on their traditions and spiritual practices.

Stacy Bare, an Iraq war veteran, Founder of Adventure Not War, Co-Founder of the Great Outdoors Lab; Prathima Muniyappa, a researcher at the MIT Media Lab exploring the use of space technology to advance issues of social justice; and Stacy Bare, Founder of Adventure Not War, Co-Founder of the Great Outdoors Lab, and National Geographic Adventurer, reflect on their personal relationship with Nature and the role of their experiences in informing that relationship. This event is part of a larger collaboration between the Planetary Health Alliance and the Harvard Divinity School called “The Constellation Project.”
