Arctic Innovation Lab: New Ideas For a Better Arctic

The Arctic Innovation Lab, organized by the Arctic Initiative at HKS, will feature students from the Arctic and across the globe presenting their work on ways to address challenges in the changing Arctic region, ranging from environmental issues to geopolitics.

We will hear their 2-minute pitch, discuss the ideas, and select our winners. Some ideas will then be incubated for further development. Opening remarks will be given by the current U.S. Ambassador to Sweden, Kenneth A. Howery.

The Arctic Innovation Lab is organized by the Arctic Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in collaboration with Luleå University of Technology, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, the Iceland School of Energy at Reykjavík University, the University of Greenland, the University of Iceland,  the UiT The Arctic University of Norway, and MGIMO University
