OEB Seminar Series

"Measuring, Modeling and Manipulating the Human Microbiome" with Eric Alm, MIT

The seminar will  include descriptions of Eric's  study analyzing his and a graduate student’s gut microbiota over the course of a year, with samples taken every day (see graph below – X axis = time, Y = microbial taxa) .  This is an  unprecedented look at the effects of diet, travel, food poisoning, and more on the human gut microbiota.

Hosted by: Cavanaugh Lab

There will be a reception before the seminar.  Please join us.
