Xi Lu, Associate Professor, School of Environment, Tsinghua University; Alumnus (Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, and Research Associate) and Collaborator, Harvard-China Project, will present "Electrification and Decarbonization: Analysis of Experiences from China, the US and EU."

Xi Lu, Associate Professor, School of Environment, Tsinghua University; Alumnus (Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, and Research Associate) and Collaborator, Harvard-China Project, will present "Electrification and Decarbonization: Analysis of Experiences from China, the US and EU."

Xi Lu is an Associate Professor, School of Environment, Tsinghua University and an Alumnus (Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, and Research Associate) and Collaborator, Harvard-China Project. He earned a Ph.D. from the Harvard University Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His Ph.D. research work focused on an evaluation of the potential of wind power as a cost-effective means to reduce emissions of CO2 using an integrative approach with an interdisciplinary perspective. His current research focuses on the technical, economic, social and environmental dimensions of low or zero carbon energy sources as a means to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide.
