Harvard Chan C-CHANGE and Harvard's Solar Engineering Research Program invite you to join a workshop to learn about the current science and funding opportunities to answer critical public health research questions about this emerging technology.

Solar geoengineering refers to a set of emerging technologies that would seek to reflect a small fraction of sunlight back into space to reduce the amount of climate change caused by greenhouse gases. It could not replace emissions reduction, carbon dioxide removal, or adaption strategies, but it could have the potential to supplement these efforts and might provide reductions in climate risk that are unachievable by other means.
