Simeon Ehui, Regional Director for Sustainable Development for Africa, World Bank; Wanjira Mathai, Managing Director, Africa and Global Partnerships, World Resources Institute; and Dhesigen Naidoo, Climate Adaptation Lead, South Africa Presidential Climate Commission & Senior Research Associate, Climate Risk and Human Security Programme, Institute for Security Studies Africa, will examine the consequences of environmental degradation on food security on the continent and how water and food scarcity impacts and is impacted by local and global conflict.
