Join the Waste and the Circular Economy Catalyst at HBS to learn more about the impact and opportunity of circular economy.
Circular economy is an innovative production and consumption model that drives economic growth while reducing environmental degradation. This model also creates trillions of dollars in value across the economy and reshapes profit pools across value chains with new technologies, innovative business models, and collaborations with suppliers and customers. However, many businesses face challenges to implementing the circular economy model, such as high costs, lack of infrastructure, consumer behavior, and regulatory voids.
In this event, you will learn how to tap into the opportunity of circular economy and overcome these challenges. This event will share interactive sessions where you will learn about the fundamentals of circular economy, discover new products and processes emerging across several industries, learn from start-ups providing new solutions, and explore how investors are finding opportunities for value creation in the private equity industry through circular economy.
About Catalyst: The Digital, Data, and Design (D^3) Institute at Harvard Catalyst series brings together researchers, students, alumni, and leading industry practitioners to learn about the future of business and forge connections to begin solving ambitious problems. These 1.5 day intensive programs will cover a range of topics related to D^3’s focus areas. By engaging in case-based inquiry, design thinking sprints, and active applied learning, participants will come away with new tools and new networks to catalyze the impact of their work.
