The Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability’s inaugural event will offer an occasion to celebrate Harvard University’s new climate initiative and discuss the inspiring work that lies ahead as we rise to the global climate change challenge.
The afternoon will start with welcome remarks by Tomiko Brown-Nagin, dean of Harvard Radcliffe Institute. A discussion among a powerhouse of Harvard’s climate scholars will headline the event. They will assess the challenge and delve into Harvard’s role in meeting it head-on. The afternoon will also include a short video, infusing the event with the voices of students, other faculty, and alumni, as well as remarks from Provost Garber, the Salatas, and me.
