There is wide recognition that aquatic foods are critical contributors to a healthy diet, especially when it is sourced in a sustainable way. The Harvard Food Systems Initiative presents a discussion with Christopher Golden, Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Planetary Health, who studies the intersection of human and planetary health with a special focus on oceans and populations that rely on our fisheries for food security and well-being. So what happens when we don’t care for our oceans? What happens when our source of nutritious, sustainable seafood is compromised? Dr. Golden shares his research and recommendations for maintaining Healthy Oceans and Healthy Diets.
