The Climate, Energy, and Environment Professional Interest Council (CEEPIC) and Taubman Center for State and Local Government are hosting Kate Gordon for a conversation with Economist Gordon Hanson, Co-Director of the Reimagining the Economy Project.

Kate Gordon is a Lecturer at Stanford Law School and Visiting Scholar at University of California-Berkeley Haas School of Business. Her previous roles include Senior Advisor to Secretary of Energy in the Biden Administration, Director of the California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, and Founder of the Bloomberg Risky Business Project. She will discuss her experience leading state and federal investment frameworks to transition fossil-fuel based local economies into the green economy, improving their community resilience and prosperity. Serving an integral role in “Bidenomics” implementation, Kate created the Community Benefits Plan approach for Department of Energy funding decisions.
