 **Jianhua Xu**, Associate Professor, Peking University, and **Ed Cunningham**, Director of Ash Center China Programs and of the Asia Energy and Sustainability Initiative at HKS, will present "Solar Geoengineering and the US-China Rivalry."

 Harvard's Solar Geoengineering Research Program aims to establish an ongoing forum to debate policy issues that relate to solar geoengineering technologies. The session will feature a presentation followed by group conversations framed by a discussant; readings will be distributed in advance. Seminars will be held in a hybrid in-person/Zoom format.
