Drawing on his experience with the 2008 presidential transition, Aldy will discuss the role of transition teams in the Biden administration. The program will be hosted by <strong>Rand Wentworth</strong>, the Louis and Gabrielle Bacon Senior Fellow in Environmental Leadership, and moderated by <strong>Claire Henly</strong> MPP 2021<strong>.</strong></p><p>	___________________________</p><p>	SPEAKER INFO:</p><p>	Joe Aldy<strong> </strong>is a leading environmental economist whose research focuses on climate change policy and energy policy. Aldy was previously Special Assistant to the President for Energy and Environment in the Obama Administration (2009-2010) when he served on the presidential transition team and negotiated with Capitol Hill to include $90 billion for green goals in the Recovery Act.</p><p>	___________________________</p><p>	ABOUT THIS SERIES:</p><p>	<strong>The First 100 Days: Climate and Environmental Policy in the Biden Administration</strong><br><br>Prior to every U.S. presidential election, transition teams prepare policy proposals for the first 100 days.
