DESCRIPTION:<p>	<strong>Jianhua Xu</strong>, Associate Professor, Peking University, and <strong>Ed Cunningham</strong>, Director of Ash Center China Programs and of the Asia Energy and Sustainability Initiative at HKS, will present "Solar Geoengineering and the US-China Rivalry."<!--break--></p><p>	<strong>Jianhua Xu</strong>, Associate Professor, Peking University, and <strong>Ed Cunningham</strong>, Director of Ash Center China Programs and of the Asia Energy and Sustainability Initiative at HKS, will present "Solar Geoengineering and the US-China Rivalry."</p><p>	Harvard's Solar Geoengineering Research Program aims to establish an ongoing forum to debate policy issues that relate to solar geoengineering technologies. The session will feature a presentation followed by group conversations framed by a discussant; readings will be distributed in advance. Seminars will be held in a hybrid in-person/Zoom format.</p><p>	Registration in advance is required.
