Some have argued that President Biden's "ambitious" climate agenda during the 2020 general election reflected the growing environmental concerns of people in the United States, and the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow offers hope that the world's leaders and policymakers may soon take action.

What role does the United States play in global efforts to combat climate change? What does climate change mean for the U.S. economy and American lives? Can Americans heed the call of scientists and adapt to the new normal of our changing climate? The IOP is honored to welcome back former Resident Fellow, Gina McCarthy, the first National Climate Advisor and head of the White House Office of Domestic Climate Policy and former Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, to the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum to discuss the Biden Administration's efforts to address the climate crisis.

	Register in advance.

	Contact: ananhafez@college.harvard.edu
