Hélène Benveniste, PhD: Hélène Benveniste is a postdoctoral Environmental Fellow at the Harvard University Center for the Environment, based at the Harvard Kennedy School. She broadly works in environmental policy, focusing on dimensions of equity as related to consequences of climate change on human migration, and of efficacy as related to governance of international environmental issues. She received her PhD in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs. www.helenebenveniste.com
Cullen Hendrix, PhD: Cullen Hendrix, PhD, is Professor at the Korbel School at the University of Denver, Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, Nonresident Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Climate & Security, and Specially Appointed Research Professor at Hiroshima University. He is a leading expert on the economic and security implications of climate change and has consulted for agencies ranging from the Department of Defense to OXFAM, USAID, and the World Food Programme, among others. www.cullenhendrix.com
Jon Proctor, PhD: Jon is an environmental economist with a background in agronomy, climate science, remote sensing and machine learning. He develops and applies new methods to empirically estimate anthropogenic impacts on climate and, in turn, on global socio-environmental systems. He is particularly fascinated by how light, water and temperature jointly determine crop growth and how high resolution imagery can be used to measure socio-environmental conditions. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow jointly at the Harvard Data Science Initiative and the Harvard Center for the Environment. www.jonathanproctor.org
