The Marine Debris Fashion show is a design competition promoting waste reduction and ocean sustainability. Student, staff, and faculty designers celebrate innovative fashion by creating wearable items made from trash, debris and recycled materials, which would ultimately land in our oceans. We are adding another layer to the fashion design through augmented reality. Each design team will consist of one or more individuals working to design an augmented reality aspect to the team's fashion creation. The AR aspect should help promote sustainable oceans, be highly artistic, and utilize the Artivive App.
Teams will have no more than six members, each with a Harvard ID, can be any combination of staff, student and faculty. Each team will be offered two private Makerspace tech help sessions and one AR help session.
