*Chris Yeh develops foundational algorithms and datasets for deploying reliable AI in critical energy, sustainability, and scientific applications, contributing theoretical insights with practical impact.*

Christopher Yeh is completing his PhD in Computing and Mathematical Sciences at Caltech where he develops new methods for uncertainty quantification of AI models to achieve reliability guarantees for risk-sensitive challenges across energy, sustainability, and scientific applications. Advised by professors Yisong Yue and Adam Wierman, Chris is a Caltech Resnick Sustainability Institute Scholar, and he is grateful for support from the Quad Fellowship. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a M.M.S. in Global Affairs from Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University.

As a Harvard Environmental Fellow, Chris will work with Professors Le Xie and Na Li in the School of Engineering to explore AI foundation models and multi-agent reinforcement learning algorithms for increasing the reliability of and reducing the emissions from the electricity grid.

Faculty Hosts: Le Xie and Na Li, John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences
